The Santa Fe Trail Amateur Radio Club is a general-purpose club with the goal of promoting and supporting the educational and operational aspects of ham radio through ham radio classes, on-the-air events, and hands-on activity. THE SATURDAY BREAKFAST MEETINGS ARE HELD AT PERKINS IN GARDNER EACH SATURDAY. YOU ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US 6:30 AM TO ~8:30AM. The monthly business meeting is the 2nd Saturday of each month. This meeting is a hybrid meeting in which you can attend in person at Perkins in Gardner or you can attend via a Zoom connection. Additionally, the club holds a Tech Night presentation via Zoom the last Thursday evening of each month at 7:30 pm. Another Ensorfest Awaits Area Residents

New eats and both new and old musical treats will be an integral part of this year's Ensorfest, which is scheduled to unfold Saturday, May 9 at Ensor Park and Museum in Olathe.

Extra, Extra, Read All About It

The first class on January 10th filled the classroom

The SFTARC started off 2026 by teaching an eight-week-long class on Saturday mornings to help General Class operators upgrade to Extra Class. Make no mistake about it, the jump in technical knowledge required to obtain an Extra Class License compared to the Technician or General Class tickets is significant. On January 10th, the classroom was filled to capacity with students up to the challenge.
